• NCSARDA volunteer K9 teams have averaged over 70 responses annually to calls for
assistance from fire, rescue, law enforcement, and emergency management agencies
in NC, SC, VA, TN, and GA.

• Representative searches have included lost or missing children, Alzheimer's
patients, hikers, hunters, despondents, drowning victims, downed aircraft, and response
to flood emergencies.  .  . and that was all in one recent year.

• In 2007, NCSARDA teams assisted in four searches related to prominent homicide
investigations in North Carolina, South Carolina, and northern Georgia.
